Mirboo North is situated approximately 2 hours drive south east from Melbourne, on the Strzelecki Hwy in Gippsland.

There are two popular drives from Melbourne to Mirboo North:

via the Princes Highway, turning south at Trafalgar and touring over the hills through Thorpdale, joining the Strzelecki Highway 7 kms north of Mirboo North.
via the South Gippsland Highway, turning north onto the Strzelecki Highway at Leongatha, 25 kms south of Mirboo North.

Both the Princes Highway and South Gippsland Highway can be accessed via the Monash Freeway
